It's against TOS to use the SL name, logo, etc in any business or advertising venture.
I'd have to say yes. |

There's a post somewhere about websites, you should put a disclaimer in somewhere stating that you're not affiliated with Linden Lab.
Ah yes look here: |

What about "Dolce & Banana" name usage? A quick Google search showed dat the name is in use by at least one company, likely others. Do you own the rights to that photograph? Mari _____________________

One thing I noticed about lots of stock sites I found, is that when you read the fine print, they don`t allow you to do anything you want with the photo.
But I think they`re mainly just concerned with people almost "distributing" the product. Eg: 4. Prohibited Uses. Without a [name removed] Special License, you may not: a. print the photo or image as a poster, postcard, greeting card, on a mug, shirt, hat, mouse pad, art print, painting, calendar, book, or gallery or use the image in screensavers, e-card software, web page builders or other systems where the image is shared or distributed to a number of users. [name removed] Special License these uses can be allowable. Price of their "special license"? You have to pay them a percentage of what you make each time you sell an item that their stock photo has been printed on. Also from the site: Using the photo as part of your product is generally OK. Using the image or re-printing the image in a way that it really IS the main part of your product or is a main definitive part of your product is generally not OK. I would have to wonder if your t-shirt would fall under this. Though, you probably got the shirt from another site, this is just food for thought: Just because you buy something from a stock site doesn`t make what you`re doing with it "OK" _____________________
