ok, so there was this "slave" on my sim... (tagged) and she was there for like an hour or more just kinda ... laying there with her breasts all exposed and such, so I kinda got ... upset and tped to her and clicked on her to eject her.. cause im like that you know.. anyway I was on emerald and I noticed derender avatar on pie chart, so I clicked it and wow her lil avatar was gone from my view, still there I believe.. but I could not see her..

anyway I had no idea how to render her back.....so I could eject the away slave properly..

for future reference, how do you rerender after derendering...?

on another note, if you leave a slave unattended on someone elses sim, do I (as the sim owner where she was left) have the right to make her my own?

ROFL!!! :p

(Sorry, I know this is a serious issue. I just find your account, and your predicament . . . uh, funny! So, how DOES one rid oneself of an infestation of invisible half-naked slaves? )

To undo a derender, for now you need to leave the sim and come back.

Yeah, that's in the TOS, you can keep slaves abandoned on your land.

Alternatively, you can press CTRL+SHIFT+A, find her in the list and eject her from the Moderation tab.

At the very least, her master should compensate you in some way for you having to take the time to deal with his/her property. For me, a nice new gown would help make up for the time and effort I had to put out.

Oh I derendered my other half yesterday, wondering what would happen. We could still chat and I could still hear him talking, but he was completely gone, not even a nametag left. The only way I could get him back was to tp to the ground and back, so I suppose he was "rerendered" along with everything else in the area. Didn't have to neccessarily leave the sim.

This might be really useful for really crowded events. Usually at a really laggy thing, I mute everyone with an ARC over 2000, but then all people are grey blobbies. Perhaps derendering might work as well, and still let people talk?

Like teeny tiny little itsy guys all whisperling alog on the kitchen floor.
You could stamp on them in bare feet, like I do with bugs in teh kitchen. Bare feet REALLY - I dont lie - if I am prepared to kill them, I better do it barefoot.
