How Do I Sing in the Rain?

Having watched the marvellous "singing in the Rain" video in the Movies & Machinima section, I'd like to visit Trilogy / Fashion Alley in the Rain.

I've tried various methods for getting there, but I end up in a location close by but enclosed. I come to an impassable wall whichever direction I take. Admittedly I haven't explored every inch of said enclosing wall, but it doesn't look like there is a way through. Can't fly over it because flying is disabled in the location.

Is Trilogy / Fashion Alley in the Rain a private area? If not, how do I get there?

Go somewhere that flying is enabled and start flying. Then TP in; you will continue to fly until you land somewhere.

That sounded like it ought to have worked. However, when I arrive in the enclosed area, I am flying only a few inches above ground irrespective of how high I was elsewhere.

Cannot fly higher than that in the enclosed area, so walls are still impassable.

Sigh.

Unless, I am misreading something here, ctrl-alt-V should allow you to fly anywhere, and if you are too high up, get a flight feather.

The way I understand it, there is a roof preventing the ascension for flying over the imposing ban lines.

Flight feather did the trick. Got over the walls, but still not in the place I want.

I am puzzled by this. Why is Fashion Alley in the Rain so difficult to get to?

What coordinates are you TPing to? I searched for it and got a location of:
Trilogy Rainytown , Combeynot (221, 165, 602)

Hgowever, there is apparently a Landing Point set, because I always end up at Combeynot (112, 63, 2521)

This puts me inside a small gazebo and I can easily fly out of it and fly all around the area.

Different co-ordinates are given at different websites. These are two I've found:

Combeynot/208/153/602

Combeynot/223/213/599

That sounds like the place where I keep arriving, but I could fly out of it only with a Flight Feather, and even then couldn't find the place - just lots and lots of sea.

Did you actually get to Trilogy Rainytown itself?

Hi Kay - I think I know what the problem was.

Look at the end figures of those coordinates - 602 and 599. You were at high altitude - 602 means 602m above ground level. If you try to fly at high altitude without a flight assist device you won't be able to. Try getting a flight feather or a Mystitool to help you at high altitudes.

I hadn't given a thought as to what the numbers meant. Thanks for that insight - something I will bear in mind in future.
