Does anyone know how to setup a DDR dancepad for controlling navigation in SL?

From: LittleMe Jewell DDR can be used with SL? Interesting. I connected one and had semi-partial results. The joystick mapping dialog box is utterly un-intuitive. At some point in the trail and error attempts i got turn right PLUS camera rotate down and turn left PLUS camera rotate up. I was not able to disconnect the camera up/down from the avatar navagation.
