How did they give OK to this one, they made it impossible to zoom in and out, impossible to see who owns which SIM, and shows up Reservations as "Existing SIMs", you cannot see where your current reservations are in visuals, and you cannot see more than 28x9 grid in some several hundreds x several hundreds grid....
This is worse than what we have right now, and they are not posting any notice for it.
The new land store simply sucks!!
Is there anyone who also got invitation to the new Land Store beta? What do you think of it??
I don't want them to replace the old one with this....

Its already closed? sheesh. I just closed my original ticket from ordering a region 2 weeks ago and the store is closed minutes later. LOL my luck.

I just used the new land store to order two openspaces which were online within minutes. Personally I think the new land store totally rocks. Scrolling and zooming is a little clunky, and it's true you can't spy on your neighbours but for the purpose of ordering new sims it's freaking fantastic. I'm extremely psyched about how convenient this new system is.
*Edit: Also it does not seem to be closed from my perspective. _____________________

From Concierge: there is a list being compiled and authorization to access the Land Store will be granted on a daily basis. Odd that I would have to request permission to use the Land Store when I submitted an order on the 26th of April. Either way, I am anxious to try it out.  _____________________

I had to request access also and I have had 4 openspace sims on order, oh well. Just waiting for my access to come through. Overall though the experience sounds like a dream....instant provisioning...i thought they were joking when they said that. But seems its a reality.
Like search function they showed looks really cool also to locate a sim, with that not sure why you really need to zoom in and out. All I need to do is locate mine click next to it and order. I hated the old land store and trying to find things and waiting for it to load. This one sounds like a tremendous improvement. With instant delivery how could you possibly say it sucks? |

Just ordered an opensapce through the land store, amazaing!!! Took about one mintue and it poofed right in front of me. I see what you mean by the map, yeah could be a little nicer. But for me its Perfect!!! If i need to see what the sims look like around me and get a wider view I can do that in sl with the map.
The old land store was excruciating pain trying to find a sim and wait for the map to load when you moved. It was horrible. This experience is delightful, whole round trip of logging in, finding my sim and it being delivered was less than 5 minutes!!! WOW. Great job Lindens. |

Excellent facility.
I ordered a new OS sim 2 days, ago, cancelled it yesterday and applied for access. Got it this morning and the new island was delivered in seconds. Much better experience than the old way. _____________________

Wow, I don't know what the deal is. My experience so far has been pretty bad. While I really like the ability to order openspaces and navigate directly to places on the grid, I experienced a number of scripting errors on the page, was double-billed for one of my new islands- and to top it all off, not one of the four islands I ordered this morning (nearly three hours ago) has been delivered yet. I have been charged for all of them (and charged twice for one), but I've received no delivery emails, and I cannot access any of the new regions even if I try logging directly into each one. I've been in Live Chat for half an hour and they've been unable to locate a tech to assist with the problem. *sighs and pouts*
