Hey everyone. I'm new and want your older and wiser input.

SL is awesome and I'm very intrigued by all the role playing and themed things and want to check them out. Gorean, sci-fi, vampire, French baroque, etc., even furry. But where to look?

A lot of the posts I've searched through have what seems good info, but are outdated. The sims and games seem to have deteriorated or maybe sucked from the beginning. A lot of what's out there is crap.

If you're initiated into any flavor of RP or themed stuff, what do you suggest? What are your favorites?

**Mods please move if this is the wrong section.

Hi, hi and welcome!

For Gorean roleplay, I just direct you to www.goreanforums.com. It's active and updated.

I guess you are male, from your name. (If you're not, sorry) It was just a thread where they missed new players, (noobs) reading that might give you some input. http://www.goreanforums.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=822

Just add on that timezones is one of the most important things. Roleplayers are spread out thin, except the most popular places like Midian. Define what will be your "active time" in SL and have that very high on your priority list when you ask questions.

I don't know much about Midian, but you can search for it. Most RL sims give notecards with info in the teleport zone.
