You mean "Ronald Visser", don't you? As that's who you are over there.

So, remove it then. This is the SL forums, not the other-virtual-world forums. Probably would have been fine without the affiliate linkage.

I don't mean to play policeman here, but seriously, let's not let this precedent take root.

I had a peep at the site, but omitted the trailing numeric in the URL that was posted, so
http://www............com

That's an affiliate/marketing/bonus thing for you?
Naughty!

Thanks. I'm fairly sure affiliate links are a big no-no. :)

I signed up, but all the alarm bells went off. Promising that we can make thousands of dollars? Affiliate links? And I couldn't help but notice that indemnity clause ... you know, in case you wish to sue them for the thousands of dollars you *won't* make.

Hmmmm. From the T&C of 'that place' :-

";(5) Share Allocations and Recommending

When you register to become a member of this website you will be allocated a number of ordinary shares in me2everyone Limited with a par value of £0.001 each. We reserve the right to vary the number of shares awarded for becoming a member from time to time.

Ordinary shares of £0.001 par value in me2everyone Limited will also be allocated to you when you recommend this website to your friends and they subsequently register as members. We will provide you with a link that contains your unique referral ID for this purpose. You can check who has registered on the website using your referral ID by signing in and visiting the “Shares” page.

You agree:

(a) Not to register yourself using different email addresses or aliases in an attempt to gain more ordinary shares;"

/me tries not to think about the number of muppets busy registering multiple accounts (crowd-sourced captcha-solving for the bigger numbers) - and also spewing their referral IDs all over the Net.
