For some reason I'm having trouble describing what I'd really like to find. I want a wall, set up in a grid of rectangles or squares, like graph paper. Maybe re-sizable. I'd like to be able to pop a picture or a texture image into each rectangle at will, and pop new one in over the old ones when I wanted to. I don't want them to cycle, or morph, or be slide shows. I just want an alternative to taking hours setting up picture frames in careful rows up on a wall, getting them all sized right and aligned to the wall... can anyone point me to something like this? Thanks!
/me ducks the "WRONG BOARD, EVELINE!" brickbats...

/me ducks the "WRONG BOARD, EVELINE!" brickbats... you could make one easily enough, one back board...then rows of boards on top (obviously spaced & placed so they dont LOOK like they are boards on top) hmm its a good idea..i might make one

"Seasonal Creations" (in the West Texas sim) do a very nice photo display screen that sounds exactly like what you're describing, and the creator, Belle Loll, has given me excellent service on the occasion that I needed to chase up one of those failed-delivery-on-purchase situations with one of her products. I recommend checking her shop out.

One consideration: a wall of individual pictures can use a lot of prims. A wall of 5-faces-per-prim xyText prims uses, well, one-fifth as many. It's also possible to put a frame around each of the five pictures but that makes it much harder to retexture the faces of the individual pictures selectively (have to move the frame prim out of the way first), and there can't be any space between the "frames". (I know: everyone but me has prims to burn. In which case, never mind.)
