what happens to land if the group doesn't have enough tier to cover it?
Does the original purchaser get hit for the tier or does it revert to LL or something else?

ll will eventually send an email to the group FOUNDER (not the group owner, the founder!) warning them to put tier into the group else face land reclamation.
supposedly this will happen within days, but i have always been able to get away with it for many many weeks at a time without an email. in fact i have gone as long as 6 weeks at a time with no tier at all in the group. _____________________

"If at any time a group owns more land than they have land contributions for, Linden Lab contacts the founder of the group to let them know they need to either contribute more land allocation or release land within 72 hours, or else risk losing some of their land." It is always better to be safe than sorry, but generally LL has been liberal with group land tier issues and tries to resolve the issue before reclaiming the land. |
