Hey folks. My graphical settings work perfectly on high, I have an ATI Radeon HD 4870 512MB. 4 Gigs of RAM on my PC, so I shouldn't have any issues ... but. When I put the camera under the water and look up to the surface, the surface is pitch black, it's really annoying, especially for someone like me who likes taking screenshots and videos. From the top, everything looks alright. Here's a screenie. I hope someone has an answer! Thanks in advance. From the top: From the bottom:

Try turning off atmospheric shaders. If that fixes it, then it appears to be a driver problem similar to this https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-8211, though this would be the first I have heard about it on an ATI card.

Yeah, it fixed it.
Any solution for it without removing the shaders though?

From: Karll Skytower Yeah, it fixed it. Any solution for it without removing the shaders though? Per the Jira, here are some options: - Revert back to nVidia Driver 174.74 as a workaround, it's very stable and SL doesn't memleak. I'm not going to upgrade my drivers if I don't need a newer feature when they are stable -- though someone else said they had to revert all the way back to 169.44 - someone else recommends turning off Fog (under Rendering / Types) LL says possible fix in the 1.23 version, which should be the new Release Candidate soon.
