maybe it's just me being typically thick, but for whatever reason I am no longer able to 'drop' items attached to my avatar. all I can do it 'edit' or 'detach' from the pie menu that pops up - can anyone enlighten me as to what I may or may not be doing right ? I want to be able to drop things I am making, and not have to detach and go looking thru what basically amounts to 15k+ items in my inventory .. yes, you may also spank me for keeping a messy pile of stuff lol this began happening before I installed the latest windlight viewer thanks for any help you can give  sv |

could be related to the same bug affecting the dazzle and 1.19.1 viewers where attachments are not working
as for hunting for the item, give it a unique name,then sort your stuff by date, then check the objects folder, it should be right at the top, with the name you gave it

I'm probably way offbase here, so feel free to ignore, but in the simple and obvious category - are you allowed to build on the land you're on? If not, I don't think you can drop anything, either.

usually, pressing CTRL-ALT-V will allow you to drop items. Press that key combination, then you should find "Drop" is now enabled on the pie menu.
It's a pain to have to do that each time you log in, but it works for me.

I've been having this for so, time now - through several version of Windlight and the regular version. When I right-click on an attachment "detach" and "edit" or the only two things on the pie menu. It happens in my own workshop. From: RobbyRacoon Olmstead usually, pressing CTRL-ALT-V will allow you to drop items. Press that key combination, then you should find "Drop" is now enabled on the pie menu.

thanks for the quick replies ... yep, it happens on my own land I'll try the ctrl alt v thingy next time I'm inworld, hopefuly that does the trick! thanks again |
