Just curious....Is there an island based on the tv show Lost?

I did a search but couldn't find one that is based on the show. I'm kind of surprised since it is a hit show and would make a fantastic island I think. You can create avatars to look like the characters and have them interact with each other. You can create animations to do weird things like on the show and recreate the buildings too (like the whole Dharma initiative), etc.


How about a Gilligan's Island themed one?

Yep, there is a Lost island, I am in the group, which you have to be in to access it. The groups
name is the numbers that are everywhere (on the hatch etc) so if you look it up you should be able to ask for an invite. It has the houses and the hatch amonst other things.

EDIT THAT!!! After having a look I realsied it has since closed down, due to lack of funding. Big shame that, it was a GREAT island. Look up the group 'SL Lost', as they are trying to rebuild it, and they need help. Also you can go to their website - http://www.sl-lost.com/. Sorry fo the confusion .

I was just cruising the IMDB Lost boards, and posted a topic about Second Life. There are apprarently others who would be interested in the Lost island and maybe even help to resurrect it.

Its in Cosmet called B.Forever Lost land. I am w/some friends how are very laid back easy going not lost freaks or anything but habitual fans. lol

Also i talked with Dark for a short min about SL but he cant get over here as it would suck all his time up.

Are you sure you are talking about the same island, only becasue you have a join date of a month ago, and I was there mid last year, hehe! Or are you an alt?

A group of us 10 orig. signed on in Dec 07 to try SL instead of message boards for the past 3 years or so we have talked together on. i had gotten some mainland and did that ala Lost.

Ah right, I thought you were saying that you had the 'Lost' island in SL.

I understand that Bad Robot and Grass Skirt did look into an official set of sims but in the end went with this series of linked websites that they have been using to viral market the series.

the group is sl-lost and there is a website (sl-lost.com) with pictures from the SL island. They are currently seeking funding for a new sim, since their benefactor retired from SL last year.
