Hi Everyone, This probably seems quite obvious to many, but not to me. I've tried searching for an answer to no avail. Is there a way to erase the chat history when you are actually logged on? I realized the history disappears once you log off, thankfully. For now, my husband and I are sharing the one avie. Neither of us use the IM, so that's not an issue, but I have been using the chat, and even tho most of the conversations are pretty mundane, I'd prefer to know for sure that I can get rid of them for good and not have to worry about him seeing them, ever. I don't even want to have to explain the medievel role play if I can avoid it. He'll think I'm silly Thanks

Thanks for the quick reply Calveen! That's unfortunate. I'll have to be pretty careful about making sure I log off instead of leaving the program up and running.

If you're both using the same puter in the same house it's not likely to be much of an issue, but it's not actually allowed for multiple people to use one single avie.
Is there any particular reason why you both don't just get your separate one?

What if one of you decides to go furry, or become a big buff Biff, and the other doesn't want to? I'd recommend you get two separate accounts, to develop your own avatars that showcase your own individual personalities! That way, privacy won't be an issue to begin with.

Basic accounts are free and take about 30 seconds to setup. Just get one each (particularly given that you are breaching the TOS at the moment anyway).

Sounds like you better make sure the preferences option for saving chat and IM logs is turned off too, and check it regularly.

We use the same computer. He was helping me set up the Avie. He's the techie in the house, it's his profession. So, I was allowing him to go in and use it to help me out - not to actually "use" it per se as in being "me". He isn't much interested in the "world" in general, didn't really see the point in it, which I found kind of odd since he's such a computer geek. But that's fine for me Elora
