A little background info first. Will and I leased a sim that was abruptly sold without any forwarning to a new owner. Without prior notification, the new owner had LL moved the sim with our contents on it including our tenant's was lost. We asked the new owner would he request rollback so we can retrieve our items and he refused. Apparently he was not happy we did not did not lease from him and that is why he would not accommodate our request. He told me that in so many words. Anyway, it suggested that we put in a support ticket and ask for the rollback ourselves. Well I did and I received assistance from Minerva Linden. They disabled my account and looked at my inventory told me I had items returned. I responded back with more information and provided examples of inventory items I did not receive and asked her to please revisit my request. I received another reply from Minerva that I wasn't totally expecting.

While they did not agree to the rollback, Minerva's reply included a compromise that really blew me away. We did not get our stuff back but almost all of it can be replaced we just have to buy it all over again. Some are irreplaceable. I wish I could provide details but Will said they may not want me to do that because then everyone in similar situations would be beating down their door for the same thing.

I don't know what she did the scenes but all I can say is THANK YOU MINERVA!!!! The customer service she delivered was great. The loss of our beloved sim, home, business and furnishings was a very bitter pill to swallow. Minerva's customer service and the solution she provided just restored some of my faith with LL. So "CHEERS" to you Minerva.

I also want to say thank you to Rene, Chardonnay and Mickey for contacting me inworld and offering your support as you all know I was very touched by it. I don't want to leave out those that posted in those threads your kind words and suggestions somewhat eased my heavy heart.

Man, I sound like I'm giving a thank you speech at the Oscars. In that case I want to mention I thank God too. LOL

Unforntunately no Ghostly. For some reason I think they can't find it. Perhaps when moving the sim it got lost. I really don't know and they did not offer any explanation. So maybe they don't know themselves.

Yesterday, I had 2 items returned from places I have never been before. Will thinks perhaps they are scattered about in sl. If that is the case I really hope my bathroom suite I got from T&S is returned. The creator no longer has a shop and my Intan as those dance cards are very expensive. We had alot of dances in that.

Confused...so if you didn't get your stuff back, why sing the praises of Minerva? :confused:

Ok you are the second person that said they were confused so I am going to edit my post. I did say we did not get our stuff. I sung the praise of Minerva because for one she did not give me the usual look at this and look that first response that I have gotten on other tickets that I have submitted in the past. Secondly, she could've just said there is nothing LL could do about it, you are SOL. But that was not the case. Her reply came with a one time offer which I accepted it as a compromise.

what was the offer?

my guess is that they (lindens) will reimburse you for anything you need to buy to replace that which was lost, which is why you are not willing to disclose what it is they are willing to do (because everyone will want the same treatment)

I have heard in the past of LL reimbursing someone when they lost specific items, the person bought the items again, and LL reimbursed them the cost.
