Start object?

I have recently noticed on my friend list via this site, that my partner when I mouse over her name it says something along the lines of visit (avatar name) in Second Life ( im guessing as to actual text didnt write it down) right now!

So when I click her name it opens another window SLURL I think, and in addy partway it says Object.

Then SL procedes to open up to log in screen and below log in name theres a box with the following options: start object, Home Point, Last location ....

start object has the 3 coordinates.

My question what is this? Is it due to us being partnered? I believe it was doing this before we actually got partnered. But we also have been able to track each other via map.

It's just the first time Ive noticed it besides her name being the only clickable one on my list since I remember.


Afternote, on second window that pops up it will show world map but usually says the object or location w/e is invalid. same coordinates everytime.

- You get that link for any friend who has given you permission to find them on the map. It seems most people value their privacy highly and have that turned off, apparently your partner likes you and trusts you in that regard (congratulations!).

- The "object" thing is a bug, when it's working correctly you get a good working slurl to click on complete with a proper region name etc.

I have a few friends I can map, but one of them has shown up as "object" for months now, so I wouldn't expect it to get sorted out unless the Lindens fix something.
