Maybe it's just me, but if I was clothes shopping etc I'd generally use the 'show on map' box on the old search results before teleporting - good way to see if a place is stupidly busy or filled with campers and so on.
With the new RC this doesn't seem possible any more unless anyone knows different?

I hate that about the new search! You can still use "show on map" in places and from profile picks, so most the time I either look the location name up in the places tab or if I can't do that then I open the profile of the owner, look at their picks or classified to get the map option.

To test this I tried the search term "this sucks" into the new Places search. Is coming up first in the ranking for"this sucks" a good thing?  I used the map preview fairly often. Sigh.

No, I'd have expected sex businesses to show up at the top of the list, but it was normal sounding shops, and umm, one of the top results for "this sucks" is Sandbox Island, the Linden owned free building area. I wonder how far down the Linden office area is?
