Hiding some poseballs, not all?

Presently, if I have several poseballs in a room, and use the "hide" commands -- all of the poseballs disappear. Is there any way to keep a set of poseballs visible when the other sets are hidden? If I have "Chill", "Cuddle", and "Kiss", can I arrange to have only Chill remain visible when the other 2 are hidden?
I'm aware that if a pair of poseballs isn't linked, only one will hide, but I'm sure you know that's not what I'm talking about.
Thank you!

If they all use the same hide command, I wouldn't think so. Of course, if you just don't want to look at the extras while you're using a particular set, you can always hide the rest AFTER you sit on the ones you want.

Is this something where you could use channels? If you can modify the poseballs to listen to a certain channel, then set each one for a different channel, that might work. Of course, I have no idea how to do that and you would have to have mod rights on your poseballs, so that may not be the solution. Just an idea, though.

If the pose balls have an editable script, you could change the channel that each set listens to. But that is probably more hassle than it is worth. The usual solution is just to show all of them, sit on the ones you want to use, then hide the rest.
Individual pose balls in a set show and hide when used by using a different LSL command than the open listen in Chat. That command changes visibility only of the prim the script is in, and not any other prims in the same linkset.

No answer for the OP, but it reminded me of my early days after I found out the chat channel that almost all poseballs listen on. Shouting the hide command in a popular sex joint, typically populated with newbies, usually results in some form of pandemonium. Being older and wiser now, though, I realize this act could be considered griefing (disclaimer) but it was fun nonetheless.

Flieger: wrt the post you put in the Shopping section looking for non-cuddly poseballs ... that forum will not let people post responses. You probably should post your request in "Products Wanted" ... might be nice to change the text on the original post to "please ignore" as well (would have sent you a private message, but you don't have them turned on ... they are off by default. Check the User CP menus out if you want to change that.) .

Hmmm, nice idea for a scripting project. Have a single object controling the visibility of all the poseballs. One object to listen for all the /1 commands and relay them to the object directly thus greatly reducing the number of active scripts. You could also "/1 sync" your dance but not effect everyone else.
But then a couples dance ball like what they have at Phat Kats (I think) would do the job just as easily. Temp res what you want where you want it it goes away when you stand up.
