A new error message (to me) on login

I've never seen this one before. I appeared to be logging in normally, with the progress bar progressing as normal, when an error message came up, with a message that there's a problem logging in - try again in a few minutes etc.. The login screen came back with it. What was odd was that I was offered 3 buttons, one which was "Teleport home". I'm at the login screen and it offered me the option of TPing home.

So I clicked it, and another login attempt started. It failed, but with a different message - I forget what it was.

I've never seen that before.
