So anyone??
Or you know someone that might be helped with this idea?
12 spots are up, and full is full.

I place this here because you guys already know of this plan.

Note to myself: don't take a zip of cola when reading Phil's responces. lmao

I use a very special kind of bot that does not show up on the minimap or worldmap hehe, it won't even register on traffic so I beat LL!!!

Ow wait... ehm... that makes it actually nothing more but... decoration??

I would say ME ME ME if I didn't already go out and rent a space...... :o But I think the idea is great. You'll need a good bit of marketing to boost the traffic and make it worth the effort tho. I rented in a busy sim......placed ads in the forums and in classifieds.....even have my stuff on xstreet......hell I even get compliments on my work when people see me wearing it. But sales....ppphhfffhhh fuggetabowdit!

Are you doing ad boards? That could help curb a bit of the cost to you.....a few ad boards set at 100L per week or whatever......(when I first opened a shop 2 years ago......I found that a single shop and ad boards served me much better then renting multiple shops)

My own business doesn't draw too much traffic, I used to run clubs and more for traffic, but it gotten to a point where it side tracked me from what I really love doing, making buildings.

I got this sim now little over a month and am basicly set up here now. I am also painstakingly going through the advise on sales thread but that seems mostly to be for the fashion industry.

I know myself well enough to know I am a decent builder but not a real business man. I am working on trying to get more exposure but it's the part I really dislike doing.

The idea for the stores for me was simple, I had the land and the prim, I know it's tough to start out, so I figured might as well create a spot for people to start off in.

I tried advertising in a few different manners but haven't found any way to really get things going with my own store. Sales are weird, one week nothing, and then overnight 2 times my biggest building. I can't get a grip on that.

I myself am now back to building. And my stress level dropped dramaticly. So for now, I take small steps for my own venture and just offer space for new creators.

How long are you doing it for? I come across anyone who has something going on and could use the help I'll let them know. It's very cool of you to do it.

The period is 3 months for rental, and how long? I have no intention to sell sim and dont see myself in need of the prims.

4 stores occupied in a day :D I am very happy about this result.
There are 8 left, so anyone that wants to give it a shot, or know someone that might be eligable for one, let them know.

I'm one of the lucky ones that have taken advantage of Benski Trenkins' very generous offer. Benski is a very talented builder. The free stores are located in a beautiful venue and are roomy. But one of the best things about this arrangement is Benski and his gracious partner Elizabeth Zwickel. They are wonderful and generous people.

I'm still working on the store and hope to open it next week. So I have no idea how things will go, but, all in all, this turned out to be a wonderful starting opportunity for me. Without Benski's kind offer, I probably would have not taken that first step.

Exactly why I am doing this, make that first step easier for people like you.

And thanks for the kind words. I hope you will have a great start.
