Hello to everybody.
I'm pretty new in SL, only 2 weeks now. I'm enjoying every little piece of land.
But, when i need to open the media browser, i send the url on a chat, so i can open up the browser. Is there a way to open the browser not using the method mentioned above?
A shortcut, a menu, i don't know. I've tried to find, but i couldn't.
Thank you very much.
:)

Friendly greetings Arnolfo! There sure is:

- Edit menu > Preferences, click Web tab and select "Use built-in web browser".
- Help menu > Official Linden Blog opens the media browser. Just change the URL.

ALTERNATIVELY, type an URL in chat then open Communicate > Local Chat tab (or whichever tab you typed it in). Click the link and the inworld browser should pop up.

If you have Advanced menu (Ctrl-Alt-D) on, then Advanced > UI > SLURL Test also works.

AND if you have a webpage on a parcel you or someone else owns, if its click action is set to "Open parcel media", then that pops up the Media Browser too.

I've got a video QUICKTIP for this coming up, incidentally. :) It should appear on http://blog.secondlife.com in a few days. Hope this helps and enjoy your Second Life! =^_^=

It helped a lot. Sometimes i don't wanna open my external browser, and the built-in browser comes in handy.
Thanks a bunch Torley.
