I rezzed grass in the sky at 600m but it didnt appeared. Then i rezzed 5-6 times more.. and nothing.. I tried to rezz it on the ground.. all ok. Then I typed 600m hight for that object and lost it too :(
I searched all over my parcel.. tried to select all objects. Looked in the sky at all altitudes. How to find these lost prims?

I've seen something similar before where they ended up at ground level.. Have you looked there?

Create your grass object. Sit on it. THEN enter your Z value. You'll go up with it, so you won't lose it.

Also, make sure that:

1. The Z arrow (the blue one) is actually the one pointing upwards.
2. You enter the height in the Z position box

Oh, and finding the lost ones...did you check your Lost and Found folder? Maybe you sent them into limbo and they came back there, wagging their tails behind them.

[Edit: Did you make a prim, and then apply a grass texture? Or did you create a grass object type? You can't do the latter in the air; Linden grass only grows on Linden ground.]

Try buying more from your dealer.
In all seriousness though, LL grass automatically conforms to the terrain. This means that even if you rez it at 500m, it'll still be on the ground. There is no way to correct this.

You said 600m on the first post..

Try doing About Land and highlighting your objects - sometimes that shows things that the viewer has decided not to show you because they're small and not nearby.

*bump* :)

If there's something on the terrain the grass will be burried inside/under that prim, not on top of it. If the terrain is uneven, it could be burried under that as well.

The last time I tried, highlighting didn't actually highlight Linden plants. It drove me crazy wondering where those prims went until I realized that :p.

If it was Linden grass, then if it rezed at all it rezzed on the ground at a point that you were pointing at. You can not, in any way, shape or form, cause Linden grass to appear anywhere other than on the terrain surface. Your grass is on the ground, if you tried that. It might well be in someone else's parcel, if the ability to create Linden Plants happened to be openly usable there, or was usable by a group role that you are attached to.

Prim grass, on the other hand, you would have had ot have another prim of some sort to rez it on. Like you rode a prim up to 600M, and then pointed at the top of the prim and rezzed the prim grass there.
