Sorry if i should have put this in another forum but i am really just asking opinions here, not to find the product. I am desperately seeking a texture organizer, between making accessories and clothes i just get to hard for me to open one by one to find what i like. Does anyone out there use these organizers and if so which ones? I like the idea of the multi panel ones so i can see numerous textures at once. I really can't afford to go over 500L for one but maybe can go a little higher. Any and all recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Nessa,

I have one of the most used texture organisers, which is transfer. You could buy it from me as I do not use it anymore. Then test it out, if it doesnt fit your needs I will buy it just back from you :-) Will be in-world tonight (its 9:47 here now).

Greetings, Marcel

If you put texture organizer in as search terms you will find some existing threads on the subject, one of which is
/109/64/210791/1.html

there are others

Hi Nessa, I've tried out several and found the one from Hippo (the same creator who also makes the rental systems) most useful. Forgot how much it was though.

It is conceivable - not guaranteed - that if the little search that opens up isn't working, that the so-called "advanced search" page might - that is at /invalid_link.html - which would be a good page to bookmark (umm, make a favorite, whatever) .

I'd give the link to the search results but that doesn't work, it might work for a little while, but the search result links where all the results are have such a short lifespan that it's not worth using those at all. (what a pain)

My favorite is the single texture organizer from THinC products. It is copyable, so I have one set with Christmas textures, one with fabric textures, one with wood textures, etc. It keeps the textures organized and greatly reduces inventory. When I wish to retrieve one, I just re particular organizer, click the texture I want and a copy is transferred to inventory!

LOVE it!!

Could you make your own vendor? I saw some texture vendor scripts in umm the scripting area…that might help. At least that’s what I did, not sure if it’s what you may need.

The Cortex Designs one is good, and low cost if I remember right (otherwise I would not have bought it :) )

I use the HippoImage organizer... yeah, I'm a complete ho for HippoTech.

The nice thing about it is that it is rezzable inworld and not just a hud, and you have the option to share the images with others. This is dangerous for copyrighted material that you don't own, though, but it can be turned off so that people can only look but not receive copies of the image.
