Anyone else having issues with TP, changing clothes, money, etc? I am GRRRR (gonna just log off) merry Christmas everyone I was just about to post when yours popped up... for almost an hour I have had problems.. I noticed when I tried to change my profile and it wouldn't load.. so.. I relogged.. when i got back my linden balance says LOADING.. search is not working and I am stuck at home... my friend list is up however..this is a first for me..lol.. I know there is no hope of anything being fixed in the next couple days..sooo....Happy Holidays everyone! |

Yeah not working well. Strange for not a very high traffic day. Didn't see it go past 39K all day... Oh well plenty of other virtual worlds to check out in the mean time.

Same here. Thought I'd log in to throw some money up to SLX, but my L$ says loading. Can't TP to a terminal location, ad nauseum.
Nice way to be just before a Christmas party. Guess maybe everyone can log in, stay at their respective houses and we can use group chat to enjoy each other's company. (rolls eyes) |

I just brought something I didnt get and you can't send a message telling the seller what happen as the search isnt working either not to mention the damn tp.
What do we expect? This is sl we talking about. I'm checking out Enthropia I believe thats the name. It's suppose to be like sl but it seems much better. |

Not better as far a social structure. not bad for a MMORPG though. Be aware it is not cheap to keep yourself entertained. Some poeple have well over $100,000USD just in their equipment to play the game. Go here: http://www.entropiaforum.com/ and do a bunch of reading before you get to involved. It is a game+virtual world. Also checkout http://www.mmorpg.com/ for a long list of other online games to check out while you wait for SL. Not sure how long ago you played but he UI is better than SL's in my opinion. Got even better the last update. Mid 2008 is supposed to be the CryEngine 2.0 graphics upgrade. Far superior to what SL uses but it is 2 totally different platforms. Very sure on the money. Top of the line armor goes for over $50,000USD. Some guns alone are $10,000+USD. No I am not messing up the decimals.  Selling Assassin R150, here are the stats: Current offer is approximately 120k in items. Buyout is 150k. currency is fixed items (every damn thing) has decay wich needs to be repaired (runs up in the costs fast!!!) ammo costs money hunting gets no to crap loot depending how many people shoot the same mobs (more luck in gambling) manufactoring is NOT user driven, everything is made up from pre-made templates i tried to manufactor an item with sliders set for best results, 5 tries, 5 fails, sl gambling had a better luck ratio it`s all skill driven, play for years, spend a crapload of money and hope in the end you loose less money due to better skills btw, skill increase is a gamble aswell, can get skill points in waves or non for some time waste of time unless just to have some fun shooting some aliens an hour or 2 per week heh _____________________

Can't recommend anyone play it either. However it has a lot more going for it than SL does right now. http://www.techcrunch.com/2007/05/30/entropias-virtual-world-comes-to-china/ The deal is quite ambitious. Entropia currently has over 500,000 registered users, but the new Chinese partnership will permit up to 7 million concurrent users with an overall aim to attract an unheard of 150 million world wide.
