Anyone else having trouble with the Events Calendar ?

I have double and triple checked my entry for perfection, and it will not allow me to post. It claims this:

Please correct the entries highlighted in yellow.
  1. Invalid Event description, please try again.
Nothing is highlighted in yellow at all, and all applicable fields are filled out correctly. I'm trying to post in Portugese. The calendar does accept posts in Portugese, correct ?

I couldn't even get to the page that lets me enter the event title and description. The password reset page seems to send you right back to the main page before allowing you to reset your password as well.

The biggest problem with the events calendar is that it is full of crap, adverts and non-events, nobody polices it, and nothing happens to those who abuse it.

The events don't accept posts in portuguese. You can write in portuguese but without the special portuguese characteres (ç, ã, é, etc)

Also, if you are cutting and pasting your text, it does not like many fonts. You have to type directly into the window on the page.

<-----------------doent even look at the event listing anymore for those same reasons. Where is Jesse Linden to take are of this matter?

on edit: I just followed the suggestions for posting in Portuguese, and it posted perfectly the first time. Yay ! This forum IS valuable.
