NCI Classes?

Does anyone know where to find a schedule of NCI classes?

I'm trying to not join the group to be honest, because I already have more than one very active/chatty group IM going anytime I log in.

But I'd like to know when their ongoing classes are and where, and what is taught. I prefer to know/plan ahead of time rather than log in hoping a class is going to begin soon, or to have to ask each time, in group chat, about it.

The PDF is a remnant of the old NCI site that's currently being updated. It's the NCI weekly events calendar. A copy of it is rezzed inworld at most NCI locations. (^_^)

You can also search the Events tab by filtering for Education and using the keyword "NCI" to get all the events listings for classes. (^_^)

NCI classes are not web tutorials. They are inworld events hosted by a paid instructor who follows group guidelines on each lesson and is available for questions during the entire lesson. All classes and supplies are free to the attendees and tipping is not required at all. (^_^)

Don't be so afraid to join the group. The primary group chat is support Q&A for all residents, hosted by NCI's officers and helpers. Any stray conversations are encouraged to be taken to the 'NCI Spam Central' group *NO ADVERTISING* so that the main group can be open to helping residents new and old. (^_^)y

You can also go to any NCI location inluding the little peripheral infonodes, where you will find a large board posted with the upcoming class schedule.

Advertisements are not allowed in any NCI chat channel. If a group officer was made aware of that spamming the person would have been warned and/or ejected from the group. You can tell which officers are online and have chat up by clicking the blue button on the upper right of the IM window and looking for the names in the list that are in bold font. (^_^)y

100% control of any channel, or forum or anything "live" is difficult unless draconian measures are used. I've learned a lot as a newbie by lurking in the NCI chat channel, and when Ive had questions they were answered quickly and people were incredibly helpful.

The classes are a lot of fun too

Anyone have an actual SLURL to the classrooms? I think that is what the OP wanted.

FIND A EDUCATION EVENT: Click the SEARCH Button at the bottom of your screen. Click EVENTS and click the circle to the left of DATE. Click the drop-down entitled ANY CATEGORY and choose EDUCATION. Then click the SEARCH Button. Touch the event on the left that you want to see more about. Once you choose a event to attend - you can click the NOTIFY button on the bottom right if the event is in the future or click the TELEPORT button if the event has started.
