Wearing Issues

I am having trouble wearing two items I bought. When I select wear they appear on me as a box and when I right click and choose edit, it won't let me move the seperate items in the package to my inventory so I can actually wear the individual items. What am I doing wrong and can someone please help me. Same thing happens with my animations I bought can't figure that out either. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated, I am still a newbie and figuring things out.

Hi Isabela, and welcome to SL and the forums.

Are you some place you can "rez" those boxes? Meaning some place where building is enabled?

If so, pull each item out of your inventory by left clicking on it, and dragging it to the ground. A box should show up at that point.

Now you can click on it, and "open" it ...and copy the contents to your inventory.

In my experience, the sandboxes at NCI are a good place to rez and unpack boxes - and they have dressing rooms, so you can go try your new items on!

I have to remember to make landmarks for NCI, so I'll have them at the ready. :)
