Ask someone to marry you
Insist that people give you their RL details
Go into a club with a ray gun and tell everyone you're going to kill them.
Day3
Take out a year's premium membership
Buy a 512m plot of land
Rez some random freebies on the ground and just above it
Day4
Forget all about SL and never log in again. Also forget that your SL annual subscription will renew and renew and renew each year!

Day 1] Immediately stripped upon rezzing and started doing the Ken thing with the Appearance sliders.* Realised after an hour that it wasn't cool to be buck nekkid even in virtual public so I flew to the top of a skyscraper on Orientation island and carried on.
Day 2] More of the same (it was one of those bored-sh!tless in RL kind of phases) but I did try to gain some facility with the dumbass camera controls as well. Day 3] Got dumped in the Hobo encampment at Calleta (I didn't take it personally) and proceeded to find a patio behind a deserted villa to carry on the Ken project in Appearance. Got picked up and shagged by a transgender geisha. Day 4] Never looked back. * I've always been proud of the fact that I looked like a typical newbie for less than a minute. |

Day one:
go straight from OI to RL gf and hang out at club where mutual friend from another game DJ's. Tweak clothes to look not quite so... ruth. Day two: comment on neighbors faerie stuff, get a handful of freebie faerie avs, take pictures, fill out profile. Day three: Run into now famous designer, get skins and stuff dropped on me for free. Day four: shopping trip, decent clothes, hair, new profile pic. (I still have and use pretty much the same av as one of my regular looks.) Day five: discover building and scripting... never looked back. _____________________
