I want something to carry around, something that glows in the dark.
I was thinking either a torch or a glowing staff. Does anyone know of any good stores where I can shop for one?

If you don't have a walking animation that's suitable for carrying it, it won't look right at all. Suitable stand animations would also be needed.

You can buy animations but you'd need an Animation Overrider (AO) to hold them. You can a decent free one of those, but I don't know where.
Walk animations tend to have the arms swinging, and that wouldn't suitable. Also stand animations don;t come with suitable arms for holding a torch or staff. All in all, I doubt that you could find suitable animations unless you managed to find a torch or staff with suitable animations built-in. _____________________

Do a search in-world for "Staff animation", There is at least one merchant that sells a no-transfer AO set that can be dropped into any staff or spear, that is quite suitable for making you walk or stand appropriately while carrying one. Send me an IM in-world and I'll dig out the details. I bought the set a year or more back, and was quite pleased with how it worked and looked.
