I made some shirt in second life and now i want to sell it. But how?(i don"t have shop or my land). How can i make web page link in notecard(that somebody youst click and link opens in web browser)? I'll try the first question. Without a shop or land, the best thing to do is to list your shirt on SLexchange or Onrez or both. They are websites that offer products made in SL. However, you still need a place in world to rez the boxes that hold your products. I know SLexchange rents space for that purpose and perhaps Onrez does as well (I have not listed on Onrez, so not sure.) Another idea would be to rent an inexpensive shop space - some people offer spaces to basically just place a vendor on which is fairly inexpensive. Now about the vendor - there are free ones available and some to purchase, but just starting out and with one product, they are easy to make. There is a class offered regular in SL on that very topic - making a simple vendor. (It's basically making a prim sign, box, whatever - putting your product in it - then setting it to sell at a certain price and give the shirt to the person.) Hope that helps a bit and good luck ![]() |

How can i make web page link in notecard(that somebody youst click and link opens in web browser)? you can not make a clickable webpage link in a notecard, you can however put in a url in a notecard that someone can copy and paste into a web browser the only clickable things in a notecard are other notecards or images (textures) be it a texture or snapshot _____________________

Just to add on to Czari's post... the URLs are
http://www.slexchange.com http://shop.onrez.com I think all content creators and merchants should list their products on SLX and OnRez anyway. That's always the first place I look when I'm shopping, because it's so much easier to browse, narrow down the options and only then go in-world to see/test the product and make the final decision to purchase. |

I don't think I have ever tried clothes, but I have certainly embedded objects in notecards before. They do need to be full perms though, so not that useful for selling stuff. You can't put a clickable url in a notecard, but you can put a script in a prim that when clicked will load a web page. |

(I know that depends on item) It probably depends on all kinds of factors, including item, but I wouldn't begin to know how to figure it out. I have about 8 items currently on SLexchange. I'll go through periods where I'll sell a couple of items a week then go literally a couple of months before something else sells. I'm really just getting started as well so I'm not a "known" anything. I figure people are looking for something specific, enter the search words and my item pops up among others and for the person chooses mine. Each sale, no matter how small or far between sales, makes me smile! |

(I know that depends on item) When I was selling furniture (which I'm not now because I'm too lazy to maintain it) I had both a store in-world and sites on SLX and Onrez. The store was about 25% of my income, SLX and Onrez were the other 75%. _____________________

I have not tried in a long time to put an item in a notecard, must try that when I log in _____________________
