I'm sure this topic has come up before, but can't seem to find it at the moment. I bought a product from a vendor and I never received it. The person simply ignores all im's from me about the problem. I have proof of the purchase in my transaction history. Any suggestions about what to do next, save just to never buy from this person/store again and spread the word about this incident to any and everyone I come in contact with for the rest of my sl life?

With the frequency of borked transactions lately, it's possible the seller's IMs are capped. Try sending them a notecard, and include the details from your transaction history. And give them at least a couple of days, in case they're out of town or can't log in to SL for some reason.

OK, you sent IMs but, have you tried dropping a notecard with the details of what happened and your purchase records?
Many merchants have their IMs capped so they may have never received your messages. Try the notecard thing before going off the deep end.
Also, depending on RL location and/or circumstances, they may be away or unable to log in. Give them a few days before condemning them.

From: Lovely Moisant I bought a product from a vendor and I never received it. The person simply ignores all im's from me about the problem. There's something I can suggest... Check your Mute list. Check and see if somehow, someway, you pressed "mute" on some dialog you got in their store. Maybe it was a landmark you didn't want, maybe it was some notecard about their latest items.. But if you pressed "Ignore" or "Mute" on an inventory offer.. you'll have muted THEM.. not their thingy-giver. Worst thing is, you won't even remember doing it. View > Mute List If you HAD muted them.. then you could have paid their vendor, the vendor took your money like normal, and could have given the item to you, but SL would just autodelete the item, because you muted the vendor's owner. Worse still, you can IM them, and ask for help, and they can even respond.. but SL will delete the IMs before you ever see them.. because you've muted them. You can even send them a notecard.. complaining at length about thier horrible service.. but any attempt to respond, apologize, and replace the items.. will all be intercepted and deleted by SL.. because you muted them. that Mute button is the worst thing to happen to customer service in SL. If their name ISN'T in your mute list.. consider that not everything works well in SL lately. Offline messages are getting dumped, a LOT. offline notecards are getting lost as well. If you haven't heard back after a few days, give it another try. I wouldn't start any kind of "major upset reaction" for at LEAST two weeks.
