I think that some got logged in during the very short time period when they gave the all clear, and some of those managed to stay logged in. However, it doesn't look like much can be done while there, so it probably doesn't matter. Those not logged in seem to be getting the 'maintenance' message now.

The message doesn't say that the grid is down. It says logins are restricted for now.

Let me assure you, getting into SL, you will not get anything done anyways.

I could not:

1. rez items
2. delete items
3. tp
4. move

I did manage to buy land, and I cross my fingers that its still there when I get back in.

I'm still in, and we are able to move fine. People are TPing to where I am, but I'm not gonna risk TPing away.

Or taking them!
I just bought a pile of Lindens, too. Now I can't spend them :(

Worst of all, this means that I have no reason not to tidy my desk, do the laundry, feed the cat, vacuum stuff up, wrap presents. DAMN YOU, LINDEN LAB!!!!

There's, uh, probably a lot of things you didn't know about lindens. Another, another interesting, uh, lindenism, uh, there are only three jobs available to a linden. The first is making shoes at night while, you know, while the old cobbler sleeps. You can bake cookies in a tree. But the third job, some call it, uh, "the show" or "the big dance," it's the profession that every linden aspires to.

Apparently only if you were one of the lucky ones to already be online when they restricted logins.

yep. I've just seen that they are not yet saying that it's fixed. but I am now able to make copies of items, delete items, and normal things like that, that I couldn't do before.
