For some odd reason after this last log-in issue, every time I run SL, behind the active screen there is another SL screen; outlined in grey, black inside with an enormous amount of script type information.
A portion of what it says is:
INFO: LLTexStatic ImageList::deleteCachedImages: Clearing Static Textures KB GL:2
From there it goes on. If I close it out, it shuts down my first SL screen. What is this odd box and how do I get rid of it?

going by memory, but I think it is the console window option in the debug menu
go to the client menu see if console is checked, if it is, uncheck and reboot (it is near the bottom of that menu)
if you do not have the debug menu open, use ctrl alt shift D to open it or ctrl alt D

very welcome sometimes a slip of the finger causes a key combination that triggers things like that Glad it helped
