The announcement doesn't allow comments. It also doesn't give any hint about when these forums will be frozen.

It does give the idea that LL regards it as a real-time question-answering service.

Apart from what "real time" really means, this does explain why there is no navigation, and why *community* has been designed out.

Last time I looked, it didn't seem like they'd changed anything at all since they first introduced it.

Usually there's fixes/changes between beta start and beta end. Did they actually change anything or take any of the resident feedback?

They always take customer feedback. I think they use it to insulate the walls.
