OK, I have just about had enough of mistakenly having my finger on the control key and accidentally dragging an object... or an entire section of the house.
It wouldn't be so bad if Undo worked to put the object back after a ctrl-drag, but it doesn't.
Is there any way to disable the ability to ctrl-drag objects I own?
I could care less if I lose the ability to toss physical objects up using the control key.

There is an option checkbox in edit, on the object tab, to lock a linkset. Handy when one wants to make sure you don't accidentally move or delete the wall or the floor instead of the thing you are trying to edit.

Another thing you can try. If its prim position or torture issue, (as opposed to texture) you can try to hit ctrl z immediately afterward. Undo DOES work--but it's quirky. You have to have the position function activate, and the prim selected.

Yeah, it is the build where I forget to lock/relock stuff that gets me.

I used to do this all the time when I was first learning my camera controls -- hit ctrl instead of alt to zoom in or only hit ctrl when I wanted ctrl and alt. I try to keep things locked, but sometimes I forget and it sucks.
