SLim??

I followed all the directions, installed the First Look, logged in, set voice to active and turned on, everything I was supposed to.. but the SLim shows no friends online and I do not show on to them.

Question, is this SLim thing a Slim to SLim only or does it in fact interact with the SL world if others don't have it? if so, then what have I done wrong?

You wont show online to them if your not actually in world despite being logged onto slim, but you will see your friends list no matter what, or should do at least. Its all seems very hit and miss at the moment.

Mine didnt work at first either, then miraculously worked the next day, no clue why, hadnt done anything different or changed anything.
