Tech issue with the JIRA?

On a purely technical note, yesterday I was able to upload an image to the JIRA and leave a comment.

Since then my image was moved by someone to 'file attachments' instead of images.

When that happens, does it mean that a Linden has done it, or can other residents do that too?

Furthermore, today I can't seem to upload an image and am getting system errors when I try to post a comment. I'm logged into the JIRA okay, it seems to do all other functions just fine, but now it won't take anything I submit. Neither images or comments.

I'm not looking to stir a fuss or imply anything, I just simply want to know from the more experienced JIRA users here: are such system errors just a tech issue with the JIRA?

If so, does it clear up on its own or do I have to notify anyone to help me fix the problem?

Both the JIRA and Wiki databases are currently locked. The message on the wiki hints that there was some disaster (which they are recovering from).

Which issue had the image tweaked. If you click the "All" or "Changes" tab you can see the changes made to the issue (including file uploads and deletes).

EDIT: The good news is the forums are on a different server with it's own DB.

Are those problems realted to this?

"[Updated] Second Life Issue tracker is experiencing problems
[UPDATED 21:02] The issue with the Public Issue Tracker has been identified and is being corrected. Please continue to refrain from creating new issues until the All-Clear and monitor this post for updates as further information becomes available.

[7:06 PM Pacific] We are looking into reports of problems with the Public Issue Tracker (PJIRA). Please do not attempt to create new issues until we provide an all-clear on this blog."

Either way, this part is hilarious: "please continue to refrain from creating new issues until the All-Clear"

Thanks - glad to know :)

Strife, since you asked - it was the image of the Caledon flag I placed on MISC1776.

I sent an email to the dev list (prior to finding this thread) and asked about what was going on. You might not know this but LL does not own the wiki or jira servers, they rent them along with the DB they run ontop of. As it turns out at the time LL was unaware of the problem, nor the cause.

Other residents can do that. When you look at an issue, you can change nearly anything about it using the "Edit" choice on the left-hand menu.

There's usually a view option, right between the description and the comments. If you click "All" you get more details about who edited what and poked at the various settings.

JIRA's back but still unhappy enough that I couldn't see who did what..

edit: 3 minutes later, as if on cue, it seems to be working now but doesn't show who changed your pic. Just just re-add it, Desmond.
