Awhile back on the forums, someone mentioned having a newspaper whapper they had created and was kind enough to give it to those of us who wanted one. I had great fun with that until recently....SL decided to eat that item from my inventory (along with some nice furniture Anyway....does anyone remember who made that whapper or where I could perhaps purchase one if it is for sale anyplace? Thanks in advance

I have a freebie "Bam" club that sounds similar if you want a copy.

Ceera Murakami. I won't be inworld for hours, so can't check perms and send you one if its trans ... you can find the thread about it (including many thanking her) by searching for "newspaper whapper" in threads more than 3 months old. Have it display posts, not just threads ... I think it's in a very long thread. .

If anyone wants a Newspaper Whapper, send me an IM in world, and I will send you one, free.
For those that missed it the first time around, it's a rolled up Sports section of the paper that you hold in your right hand. Go into mouselook, and when you click on someone, your avatar whapps them with the paper, like a bad doggie! Complete with sound effects. No damage, and no permission required from the 'victim'.
It's best to select "show avatar in mouselook", so you can see the paper hit them...

Ceera laughs at the idea of sweet little Mari running around whapping people with a newspaper.

Too funny. I peeked in here to see what the heck it was about. I'll be IMing you, Ceera, as soon as I can leave reality.

Another thanks to Ceera and ArchTX for so quickly responding to my question (and sending WONDERFUL "whapping" tools to my inventory!!!) THIS time I have copied them, put one set in my in-home storage trunk and sent another copy to the alt I use as a third way of backing up my inventory. /me takes whapper and bammer in hand and roams around SL whistling a happy tune
