Is it just me? No matter which AO I wear, no matter what sim I'm on, scripts or no scripts, in RC8 I'm duck-walking. I've checked all my worn objects to make sure that I'm not doubling up. I've removed everything but my AO and still it doesn't work.
Hates this! Is this an RC8 issue? Is this something I'm doing wrong or need to do?

Did you check to see if it's not a problem with downloading the animation? (Right-click and Edit your AO - you can do this while wearing it, HUD or attachment - go to the Content tab, double click the animation and click "Play in World" It would probably help to test it (the AO) with someone else there as well. If they see your AO walk but you see the default walk then the problem isn't with SL but the viewer. A clear cache relog (Edit / Preferences / Network - Clear Cache and relog) would be the first thing to try in that case.

I'm not having that problem, but I did recently discover that the asset server lost the notecard that configured my AO. Somehow it kept working, but I couldn't change anything. Might be worth checking to see if everything that is listed as being in there is really still there. In my case...it wasn't.

Well, I went home and logged in the working client...not the RC. My AO's work fine with that, although I only logged in my alt and not my main (who seems to be having the biggest issues). If it doesn't work out I'll give your suggestions a try. Otherwise I'm going to sum it up to the RC8.
I've found so many issues with this RC8 that I think that I'll just sit back and use the working client until they address some of what's borky about it.
Flexi issues - flags and hair poopage! Crashing when my screensaver comes up or I lock my desktop account (does not occur with the working client) Vista and the every other log in bug among other things.....
