I must apologize now for being such a noob.
I am considering becoming a registered user, the bonus 512metres square without tier cost appeals (if i've read the signup correctly).
What makes me reluctant however is not knowing what the basic number of prims available in that 512 metres square. Does anyone know or able to point me to where i can find out. I've actually looked a bit and cant seem to find the information I want.

so if I wanted to have 1000prims availble I'd be needing to tier upgrade the 512 metres square or would i just buy a larger parcel of land?

It doesn't have to be together, but it all has to be in the same region/sim.

For more prims you would have to purchase more land. It goes up in multiples. To check how many prims a parcel of land supports, stand on it and goto the world menu at the top, click about land, and the objects tab. Number of prims is listed there.
An alternative would be to rent on a private island, many of which offer extra prims for a little extra per month on your initial rental.

If you wanted around 1000 prims, you would be paying about $25 US per month and would need to own a plot of land no more than 4096 meters sq. (this would actually give you 936 prims to play with) If you went over that amount, you would be bumped up to the next tier price of $40 per month. (but more prims woul dbe available) |
