Ok, I'm wearing an AO on my Hud. I've lost several lately when I go to detach them, I need to edit this one so I go to my inventory instead to detach it from there, but it's not there. I searched for it, cleared my cache, it's not there, but I'm wearing it. I right click the AO on my screen and go to "edit" and all of a sudden it's showing in my inventory, BELOW my Library. Now I've had this happen before also, if I go to move it I will crash and when I come back it will be gone, for good. It's not IN my Library, it's below it, any idea why, how, and how do I fix it before I lose another AO?

What happens if, while you're viewing the AO in your Inventory, you move it to, say, the Animations folder, or the Objects folder? Does it stay moved? Can you detach it from within the Inventory (right click, detach)?

Hi Skarlett, I just found this issue in JIRA; hopefully it describes your problem?

Hi Oryx, and thank you for the info. Yes it does describe my issue exactly. What happens when you try to move the object from the bottom of your inventory is SL crashes. When you log back on the object is completely gone. Of course no help from Lindens because I'm not a paying member, other than to follow the generic steps everyone does to attempt to retrieve a missing object. I've cleared cache, uninstalled and reinstalled SL, have the current version installed... makes no difference. This is an apparent bug that hasn't been fixed yet per all the statements I read in the JIRA link you gave me, so I just have to eat it I guess, and the cost of the animations.

Bummer.
For what it's worth, be sure to login to the JIRA with your SL name and password, and vote for that issue, and maybe comment that it's still happening._____________________
