When I was walking around Samara (It took about six days to navigate the old continent which is a story in itself. Most of my SL experience has either been on Gaeta, Corsica, or the island sims) one of most enjoyable activities (to a point) was cold water swimming off of snow country and in the snow country rivers. The rivers are protected, but the waterfront was full of ban lines and someone even took a pot-shot at me with an automatic weapon (1 point of enabled damage.)

There must be snow country/cold water beach or a big frozen lake somewhere that would welcome visitors. Cold water swimming is so much fun, and yes, I have dry suit for such occasions.

Sounds cool, Iyoba. I know there's soe protected and nice waterway in Zernett near where the old infohub used to be.

Oh, an it's "Sansara," not Samara. :-)

I don't know of any place for cold water swimming. I would check the map for snow regions and look for any lakes or other bodies of water in the area. Maybe get a blue skin to wear while you're swimming. :)
