Can anyone suggest some good qaulity detailed builders grids?

Are there any at 256x256 to cover an entire island?

I think that would be an interesting, helpful tool to have! I haven't heard of any, but it really shouldn't be that hard to make I think.

I have a grid texture and megaprims.

Though you may want to make one at 2048x2048

Beezle, are you able to provide more details on what you have? Do you provide grids or have any slurls that lead to any?

LV426 (heh, Acheron), you may want to post in the Building subforum instead. There are some very helpful and talented residents who mainly read the subject-specific subforums.

There are several builder's grid textures around, the ones I have were all freebies I think. All you need to do is put one of those on a 256x256 megaprim and you have your island sized grid.

If you haven't got a texture or the megaprim, IM me inworld and I'll let you have them, when I'm on at about noon SLT.

Make a grid texture in Photoshop, with 64 divisions in both dimensions.

Upload it.

Texture a 256x256 megaprim with it at 1 by 1 repeats.

Done.

Carl Metropolitan has a great building grid texture.

...except that it can't be uploaded at that resolution anymore (automatically resized to 1024 x 1024), and legacy ones at dat resolution crash the viewer. Friend of mine lost their old building grid dat way.

Oops. 1024x1024, it is, then.

And I'll be careful with the 1024x2048's I have . . .
