I'm getting the same thing. Yikes. No release candidate either available either, but my downloaded one is still working. What gives?

https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-4037
The client-login-URL for the german UI is set to https://sdfsfsfds.com in the SecondLife_i686_1_18_6_76116_WINDLIGHT linux client.... and maybe on other versions. This strange domain was registered by an uncknown person/company yesterday... We off Linux Client Users Group were concerned about it, that it could be a hacker domain that somehow was inserted in this release, or just a mistake that someone did that now may be used by some hacker to steal logins. We are evaluating the problem now and are currently taking steps to address this. The first look viewer has been taken down and taking further actions to prevent the owner of sdfsfsfds.com from unauthorized access to accounts. |

Possibly less. You'd know about the stuff that gets posted in the other forums.
If the New Posts link works properly that might be worth clicking on. /invalid_link.html I'm always logged in so I don't think New Posts works quite right for me. _____________________

Hey everyone. Don't want to start panic but I'm pasting in a notice I just received in sl - may relate to the wl logon difficulty.
'Hello everyone, This has not been verified, however if it may be true, you should follow the instructions to protect yourself immediately. From Ashra Lang of AWT: the last windlight and release candidate seems to have a big security issue. It was said, that most likely login data were passed to an unknown server in Amsterdam - if that is true or not, log out, CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD and log back in with the normal client - Linden Lab closed windlight and release candidate already - its a very serious issue.' |

there was a thingie on the main page saying they have had to stop using the windlight viewer and telling us to use the main viewer. It was working this morning, but when I relogged that is what i got
it won't update so now i am online in my main viewer. After using my windlight for a while it is a huge difference lol._____________________

If this is remotely the case (likely after the credit card fiasco last year) they really need to find a white-hat or two and work from there. Eh, well, I did change my password, because I do that at least once a month anyways. *shrugs* _____________________

Hey everyone. Don't want to start panic but I'm pasting in a notice I just received in sl - may relate to the wl logon difficulty. Even in that case it doesn't seem like whoever registered the 'nonsense' domain did actually do anything, although it's certainly not a bad idea to change your password anyway if you were using either FL or RC in German. |

There was only ever an issue if you were using the FL or RC viewer set to German. ...which is highly dangerous in itself, due to the *shudder* "translation" _____________________
