Alright I have looked for the thread I was reading the other night to fix the problem of my inventory gone missing and cant find it.
But i have tried clearing my cashe, relogging, uninstally SL and reinstalling after clearing all the cookies, clearing the folders, etc...
all of my folders are there, but they are not empty..it just happened.
if i try and find whats worn in my list it shows nothing. but yet i have clothing and air etc on.
its been a week now and the number in my inventory does not increase.
i tried to get help but becuase i havent paid for membership i cant get any help. and right now wont pay for a memebership to find out there is ntohing i can do.
so...any other ideas on how to get my things back? there are lots of things missing..
over 7000 items.
any help would be wonderful.

Best bet is a support ticket...but dont hold your breath  You could also try calling LL...but again dont hold your breath |

This problem seems to go on forever. I supposed expecting LL to actually fix the problem is too much to ask.

Check your filters as well. You need to have them all CHECKED in order to see those types of items. I know that sometimes I panic until I remember that I was playing with filters the day before.

i hope once i get my things back i wont loose them again. now i have to buy things again.....sighs....
i was told cuase i dont have a membership i cant get help other then the basic things. no help tickets for basic..least is how i was told...

Devilish...a great many merchants in SL are very sympathetic to inventory loss-stricken customers. Open your inventory, click on the properties of the items that are missing, then take a screen shot and send it in a notecard or IM. Send that to the merchant/builder who sold you your missing item. Most of them will most happily replace it for you, especially if you go out of the way to prove you're not a scammer. |
