Buying Lindens

Been awhile....
Finally got around to update my paypal and such. Now, buying lindens. To those who know, when you click purchase. Will this automaticly take the money from YOUR bank account, to your paypal account and then to Lindenlabs?

One gotcha, which I don't really remember properly -- it's been a couple of years since it caused me no end of puzzlement so all I can do is alert you to it -- is that there is (or was) some default buried deep in your PayPal settings that only allows Linden Research to debit a certain amount of money in total, over time unless you manually remove the limit. What this meant, in practice, was that I was happily letting LL debit my PayPal for everything, until one day it failed for no apparent reason. I recall spending a very frustrating couple of days being shuttled between LL, PayPal and my bank, with each of them blaming someone else, until we identified the problem.

I think you need to look at the settings for the agreement with Linden Research and change it there; I do recall it was very simple to do once we'd figured out what the problem was.

It's a longer way around, but I prefer to make a Mass Payment from PayPal to XStreet (the fee is only $1.00). Then I buy $L on the XStreet exchange (the exchange rate was 284 to 1 last night!) and transfer them to my account in world.

when i buy lindens it takes it directly from my paypal account,it can.t take it from your bank account first then to paypal as i understand your explanation.
It takes about 10 (in Canada) to transfer from a bank account to paypal
