I should have known better. I mentioned to 3 people recently that the old getting sucked off into the void and trashed problem was just an unpleasant memory and it doesn't happen anymore. Maybe I didn't knock wood or something but I have been pulled helplessly along several times in a few hours and trashed off. I thought maybe it was the latest RC so tried signing on with the "stable" version instead, I didn't get more than a few steps before I was flailing across the grid out of control and logged off. I know it's Friday but this is bloody ridiculous. Yes, I cleared my cache ::sigh::

Try rebooting the router/modem. And bring up the idiotic lag meter to see if you can at least rule out one of the three things....

Thanks, OK.. already rebooted the 'puter, now I've reset the router/modem, here's hoping it helped!

On the muting objects thingie in your tag, I voted yes on that when it first hit the jira. A pet SL peeve of mine is ban lines that the owners of them don't have to look at but us on the "outside" can't avoid... totally sakahatchie.

There may be some routing issues Out There. Last night my SL partner was getting red mapped every few minutes, and we noticed that in one 5-minute span the concurrency dropped by about 6000. So, it's possible that the trouble might not be anything you can do about on your end and it would be a wait it out kind of situation :/

Thanks Viktoria, I know issues "out there" can be hard to track down. I remember watching one of my sims appear/dissapear about once a minute and concierge telling me the logs say it's been online non-stop forever ::blink:: it was a telecom thing then, it could be again.
