Rescheduled Downtime?

The last time I heard we were going to have a usual, Wednesday downtime for about 5 hours was on October 31, 2007. This unfortunate scheduling fell right on the holiday of Halloween. Supposedly, enough residents charged the gates of LL in full costumes with torches and pitchforks. Linden Lab decided to reschedule or cancel the downtime; I'm not sure which was the case. If it was needed then, why haven't they rescheduled it for a different Wednesday? Doesn't it seem like the grid could use it? Maybe I missed the day they did it? Here are some problems as of late; the reason I am posting this now is because people are complaining, and I can't log in right now...

(1) lost inventory items
(2) lag
(3) voice went down
(4) login failed
(5) slow Second Life related webpages

I haven't seen an update day.

I assumed they did what they needed through the many rolling restarts they've had. It sure does not an overall tune up though.

I just guessed the upgrade/rolling restarts were taken care of on the Nov. 8th craptastic day of problems. You know, the ones we are still suffering from.

well i dont know but i think something is going down the toilet at the moment..

transferred some L's from slx to SL, haven't received it, tried to buy something, didnt come through... then i tried to get home..couldn't tp.. couldn't use map.. ugh *smacks head*

logs out.. tries to relog.. end up in a place, i logged out of about 4 hours ago?? not my last location where i was expecting..

at least i can log in though, i guess thats a good thing..right??
