A naming names thread in Scripting Tips that is still there after a few days. Threads derailed, General Forum threads in Resident Answers etc, etc.

Here we were given new Resmods and yet now it looks like we have none.

So come on new ResMods, are you really here and why aren't you doing your job?

Wonder if people realize how boring and how little people would participate in the forums were every single forums rule strictly enforced.

We ate them.. they were tasty. Strife usually takes the weekend off, and I can't say I blame 'em.

They were delicious, sauteed in butter and garlic.

Actually it was a commentary on the foolishness of running a 24 hour service while maintaining banker's hours. Strife deserves weekends off. The Lindens may want to rethink their schedules.

We must police ourselves during these periods of anarchy. Any atttempt to control what others post here is met with a great deal or resistance. All you can do is abide by the rules yourself and use the ignore button or avert your eyes.

The grid is running 24/7...

Of course the Lindens should get weekends off....

Strife too.....

but...

Someone should always be working on the weekend...

but not the same person...

rotate the staff....

Okay, since no one else has stepped forward, from now on I will be responsible for Second Life on the Weekends.

If you have any problems, just send me your monthly tier and I promise you I will give you a more timely response then what you get from Linden Labs. **

I'm looking forward to working with you towards a better Second Life experience for everyone.

Your World, My Bank Account...

** Please remember, I only work on weekends, so for example when it takes LL 30 days to respond while working 5 days per week, it will take me longer since I only work 2 days per week (I have not quite figured out how long that is yet, can someone else help me with the math please? I have had too many rum & cokes at the moment to figure it out for myself). Maybe tomorrow...

still there

Oh it is still there just not as noticable as we continue down to the road toward Disney Second Life a place for children to learn and grow.
Everything these days "is for the children" and the Neocons want to push their own perverted vision on the world. I am seeing neocon America and neocon EU. Second Life is becoming real life in so many ways but the worst is yet to come!

Just what we need. Self appointed officials to police the VOLUNTEER res mods who police us.

For as long as I have been on this forum there have been several ResMods listed in which ever forum you are in. I know the Linden names need to be there and Milo does do some stuff in the Beta Forum. Nada Epoch works with the Scripting Library. But outside of those and of course Strife, ResMod seems to be some kind of honorific title around LL and the rest do absolutely nothing here in the forums. Name the last time Torley did any Mod work here outside of the months old bbcode post. I know who Adam Zaius is and how busy he stays, but it isn't here. Just hope the new ones take the name more seriously.

If you check out the moderator list for the Resident Answers forum and then check their profiles you come up with :

Chadrick Linden- last login 10/3/07 but hasnt posted since 1/11/07

Char Linden - who apparently hasnt logged in since birth in 1969 but posted last on 9/25/06

Mick Linden - last login 10/3/07 last post dated 8/25/06

Elle Pollack - Last login a few days ago but last post 7/15/07

Jana Fleming - Last login 9/30/07 last post 9/1/07 concerning her latest bandana dress.

Millie Thompson - Last login 10/08/2007 last post 12/29/06

Seldon Metropolitan - Last login 7/18/07

Zapoteth Zaius - last login 8/21/07

Adam Zaius - last login 9/27/07 last post 9/8/06

Cybin Monde - fairly active, tho not as much in this forum

Milo Linden - another never logged in but last posting 6/13/07

And our own beloved Strife, who logged in early this morning, probably wondering why the hell he still bothers.

I'm pretty sure these folks don't get paid for this... just another way LL saves a few bucks by getting it's residents to do the majority of the work for them. Must be why so many of 'em seem to not really give a shit about the job.

Strife, I'm sure, does care, but all thats gotten him is confused enough to start posting his own general discussion threads to the Residents Answers forum.
