Hello Secondlife Gamers!
I am new to all this (especially this forum) and I am not sure if I can post this here, if not, please tell me.

I ve been to a very nice island but I cannot find it now. I missed making a landmark and I cant remember the name or where on the map it could be. so i hope someone who reads this has been there before or might recognize it from other pics...

here the snapshot from above (made in windlight):

what you can do is view the details of the snapshot if its still in your SL inventory. It may give you a clue. :)

Yes the details of your snapshot hold the location of where the picture was taken by default. If you did not write over that it still should be there

Wow - nice rocks. I hope you find it again.

Somehow it makes me want to load up the FarCry game again. Maybe I'm finally getting a little bored with SL after a year.

I've been wondering if my avatar from EQ is still in the system. I am sooo tempted to load up the game and find out.

Looks to me like part of an openspace SIM. You're looking at most likely high 5 or even 6 figures (L$) to buy and over $100 US $ montly tier for that nice land based on what most owners are charging. Hope you find it again.

unless the snapshot was done directly to disk, in which case it is going to be called snapshot, or if they named it, whatever they decided to name it

my guess is snapshot to disk called snapshot

Hrm, could be one of a million places. My best guess is the Heart Garden Centre. If you go over to their beachy bit and keep going out into the little islands.

Yep, looks like an openspace sim to me. There are many out there (I'm renting one, too, although not the one on the picture).

A tip: Get a Mystitool! It keeps the teleport history, besides offering an umptillion of other useful functions.

PS: I'm not in cahoots with Mystical Cookie, just a very satisfied user since my 2nd month in SL.

QFT!!!!! I would be stumbling around SL "blind" without my Mysti - sooo many useful functions!!

Looks like one of the Rezzables. Hang 10 Rezzabe, or Shoreline Rezzable, or something like dat. They have a chain of 'em dat look a lot like dat.

As long as you keep a log of main chat, the 1.19.x client will keep a record of places you tp away from. No need to buy a script that essentially does the same thing.
