I am seeing red and blue stuff emanating from avs and certain objects. I have windows XP and a ATI RADEON XPRESS 200M series video card. Anyone have any ideas?

Uncheck Client / Show Updates (or Ctrl-Alt-Shift-U) :)

I used to have an ATI Card..they tend to overheat..when mine would over heat i would see geometrical trinagles shooting out of every object to th point i could see nothing..maybe its your card?....is it a constant thing?..or does it fix itself after the card rests?,

Maybe go into preferences (Cntrl + P) and make sure your avatar meshes and object meshes are set on low?

Thats about all I could suggest.

Lana, shutting off the VBO (vertex buffer objects) setting usually fixes the triangle explosion problem; it is a common bug in SL for certain ATI cards.
